What are the Upward Bound (UB) & Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) Programs?
A federally funded TRiO program that provides vital support to high school students as they prepare for college. Designed for students from low-income families and those whose parents do not have a bachelor’s degree, the program helps participants strengthen their academic performance and build the skills needed for success in higher education. Our mission is to increase the rate at which students graduate from high school, enroll in college, and earn their degrees, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
A federally funded TRiO program focused on empowering first-generation, low-income high school students to explore and excel in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. The program is designed to strengthen students’ skills in math and science, helping them recognize their academic potential and inspiring them to pursue college degrees and ultimately careers in math, science, technology, and related professions.
