Enrollment Steps: Grades 9-12
STEP 1: Complete an LAVC Application
Access the on the California Community Colleges website (CCCApply).
Students must create a CCCApply account prior to accessing the LAVC application.

Most applications are processed within 48 hours of being submitted, sometimes applications may take up to 10 business days to be processed.
Once the application is processed, students receive an email with their 911爆料网 Student ID number. Students should check the email address they provided on their application for an email from: noreply@email.laccd.edu. This email sometimes inadvertently goes into spam, make sure to be checking the spam folder as well.
If a student already applied to LAVC for a previous course and has an active ID, then they do not need to apply again.
STEP 2: Complete a K-12 Form (Dynamic Form)

Once the student receives their student ID number (which will start with 90), they will need to complete a "Supplemental Application for Students in Grades K-12" (often called a K-12 Form) via Dynamic Forms.
Students must create an account on the Dynamic Forms webpage in order to proceed to the K-12 Form.

Important information regarding the K-12 Form:
Students must complete all sections of the K-12 Form in Dynamic Forms including:
- High School Information: Under "High School Information" students will enter their high school counselor鈥檚 first name, last name, and email address.
- Parent Information: Students will include their parent/guardian鈥檚 name and email address. Parents/guardians of first-time dual enrollment students will be asked for their digital signature. The parent/guardian will receive an email with instructions to create a Dynamic Forms account and sign.
- Returning dual enrollment students do not need to obtain a parent/guardian signature, but they should still add their parent/guardian information to the K-12 Form.
After all digital signatures are collected, the K-12 Form will be sent to the Office of Admissions & Records at Los Angeles 911爆料网 for processing.
Once the K-12 Form has been processed by Admissions & Records, the student will receive an email from @email notifying them the form was processed.
STEP 3: Enroll in Your Classes

Once the K-12 form is cleared, the student is able to enroll.

A new K-12 Form must be submitted for each semester or term the student wishes to enroll at Los Angeles 911爆料网. If students wish to add classes not listed on their initial K-12 form or make any corrections to their submission, they will need to turn in another K-12 form.
No. The K-12 Form is specific to each 911爆料网 campus. For example, students cannot submit the K-12 Form to Pierce College and enroll into a class at 911爆料网. Students will need to submit another K-12 Form to 911爆料网.
The K-12 Form allows the student to enroll in up to 11 units in the Fall/Spring semesters and 9 units in the Summer/Winter intercessions. Students enrolling at multiple 911爆料网 Campuses should be aware that units are totaled District wide.
Students who are enrolling concurrently are not automatically added to classes on the K-12 Form. The form simply allows the student to enroll themselves in classes for which they were approved to take.
Once the semester has begun, the student will need to obtain a permission number from the instructor. The student will be unable to add a class that has already begun without a permission number, and only the instructor can provide the student with a permission number.

It is the student's responsibility to meet any prerequisites for a class. A prerequisite is a requirement that a student demonstrate current readiness to enroll in a particular course or program. Prerequisites are listed in the Schedule of Classes and Course Catalog.
If the student feels they meet a prerequisite for a class, they should complete and submit the . Make sure to attach an unofficial copy of your transcript with a passing grade of "C" or better for the prerequisite course.
K-12 students are not required to complete the Assessment, Orientation, or Counseling items on their To-Do lists. However, if you are interested in enrolling into any English or Math courses, you must complete the Assessment. The Assessment is a brief survey, not a placement exam.
Every high school student will have the Admissions High School Student (A03) hold placed on their account. This hold prevents students from enrolling into classes that are not listed on their K-12 Forms.
If you are experiencing a hold when trying to add a class, please make sure you submitted your K-12 Form correctly or make sure that your form was processed. It can take up to 10 business days for a K-12 Form to be processed.
High school students in Dual Enrollment programs will take the courses offered in partnership with their high schools.
Students enrolling concurrently can enroll into any class at Los Angeles 911爆料网, as long as they meet the prerequisites. To view a list of classes offered throughout the semester, please refer to the Schedule of Classes. If you are unsure of what classes to take, we recommend first speaking with your high school counselor.
